Alex: Hi Sam, it's Alex, an AI assistant calling for Harbour Air Services about the quote you just asked for. Is now an okay time?

Caller: Yeah, go on.

Alex: You're after a new split system. Which room, and is it a house or a unit?

Caller: Main bedroom, it's a house.

Alex: Great. What's the address, and do mornings or afternoons suit for the quote visit?

What it does

Alony's Outbound agent calls new leads for you. When someone submits a form on GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Typeform, Jotform, Webflow or your own site, or a number arrives on a spreadsheet list, it rings them, only inside legal calling hours: a new form within seconds, or usually within a minute for forms Alony checks on a timer. It asks if now suits, says why it is calling and books them in. Outbound is on every paid plan.

What the call does

The starting flow the call-flow builder draws for an outbound agent, from the ring to a booking. The business can edit every step.

  1. A lead arrives
  2. Who picked up?
    • A recorded greeting or a beep
      1. Leaves a short message saying who called
    • A person

          2. Are they interested?

  3. After the call: recorded, transcribed and summarised in call history

Outbound: forms that start a call

Calling people in Australia: the rules

The business making the calls is responsible for following them. Alony builds in the guardrails below.

  • No Sundays or public holidays

A form sent on a Sunday gets no call that day.

  • Legal hours, in their time zone

Calls go out only inside the hours the law allows where the person is.

  • Mobiles from 9am Perth

A mobile could be anywhere in Australia, so calls to mobiles start once it is 9am in Perth.

  • A do-not-call list

Your dashboard keeps one. The agent never rings those numbers, including people who ask on a call not to be called again.

These settings help; they don't replace your own obligations. The ACMA says a call is telemarketing if the caller aims to sell, advertise or promote goods or services, and telemarketing is allowed 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm Saturday. Numbers on the Do Not Call Register can be called only with consent or an exemption, so check your list against it. Every caller must say who they are, who the call is for and why they are calling, so check your opening. Consent is yours to hold. The ACMA says "ultimately, the business is responsible" (common issues and mistakes). We recommend the agent tells people it is an AI; the OAIC advises that public-facing AI tools are clearly identified (OAIC, published 21 October 2024). Read the ACMA's guidance for businesses and Dealing with telemarketing (read 22 October 2026). This is not legal advice.

Speed-to-lead questions

Which plan includes Outbound?

Every paid plan, from Lite up. It is not on the free trial. Before the first outbound call you accept the outbound terms, which cover consent and the Do Not Call Register.

What starts a call?

A new submission on GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Typeform, Jotform, Webflow or a form on your own website, or a spreadsheet list.

What happens if nobody picks up?

The starting flow has a voicemail branch: a short message that says who called, then the call ends. You can edit the message.

Is it legal to call someone who filled in my form?

It depends on the purpose of the call and on consent, and we can't give legal advice. Read the rules above, then ask the ACMA or a lawyer about your own calls.

Does it find leads for me?

No. It calls people who have submitted a form or are on a list you hold.

How fast does the call go out?

Inside legal calling hours, a new form gets its call within seconds. Forms Alony checks on a timer are usually called within a minute. Outside legal hours the call waits.

Can it call a list I already have?

Yes, a spreadsheet list can trigger calls. You are responsible for having permission to call every number on it, and for checking it against the Do Not Call Register where that applies.
